Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Green Compute ("we", "us") for using green-compute.com, the dashboard and the API at api.green-compute.com (together, "the service"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you use the service for a company, you confirm you can agree to these terms on its behalf.

1. Your account

  • Give us accurate details and keep them up to date. You must be at least 18.
  • Keep your password, API keys and SSH keys safe. Anything done with your account or your keys, including by software or AI agents you set up, is your responsibility.
  • Tell us straight away at sales@green-compute.com if you think someone else has access to your account.

2. The service

  • GPU rental: a machine with one or more GPUs that you control over SSH.
  • Private models: your own copy of a model running on GPUs reserved for you.
  • Shared models: models we run on the network that anyone can call.
  • The GPUs are operated by us and by independent providers who are part of Bittensor subnet 110. Available capacity changes. We may limit or refuse a request, for example when no suitable GPU is free.
  • We work to keep the service running well, but we don't promise it will be available all the time or without interruption. There is no service-level agreement unless we have signed one with you separately.
  • We may change, add or remove features. We'll give notice of significant changes where we reasonably can.

3. Paying for the service

  • Prepaid balance. The service runs on a prepaid balance in US dollars. You add to it by card, through Stripe, or in crypto. Card payments and crypto invoices are $5 to $50,000 each. A verified wallet can send any amount.
  • Prices. Prices and how each service is charged are on our Pricing page and in the docs. They may change. A GPU rental keeps the hourly rate it started with.
  • When it's charged. We charge your balance as you use the service: GPU time by the minute while it runs, and model requests as they're made.
  • When your balance runs out, running rentals are stopped and private models are paused.
    • If you chose to keep a rental's data ("Save my pod"), it's stored for $1 a day for up to 30 days, then deleted. Otherwise it's deleted soon after it stops.
  • Crypto payments.
    • Send the exact amount, on the network shown, to the address shown.
    • Payments sent to the wrong address or network, or from an exchange account that can't be verified, may not be recoverable.
    • Crypto is converted to US dollars at the time it's credited.
  • Refunds. Balance you've added can't be exchanged for cash and isn't refundable, except where the law requires it. If you think you were charged by mistake, contact us within 30 days and we'll look into it.
  • Reversed card payments. If a card payment is reversed or disputed, we remove the matching credit and may suspend the account while it's resolved.
  • Taxes. You're responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchases.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use the service to:

  • break the law, or help anyone else break it;
  • create, store or share child sexual abuse material, or content that promotes violence against people;
  • infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy;
  • spread malware, run phishing, send spam, or attack, scan or break into other systems or networks;
  • access other customers' workloads or data, or try to break out of your machine or container onto the provider's host;
  • interfere with the service, the Bittensor network, or how providers are measured and rewarded;
  • get around billing, rate limits or usage limits, including by opening extra accounts.

You must also follow the licences of the software, container images and models you use. Some models, such as Llama, come with their own licence terms.

We may investigate suspected misuse, and stop workloads that break these rules.

5. Your content and data

  • You keep ownership of your code, data, models and outputs. You allow us to store, run and transmit them only as far as needed to provide the service to you.
  • Model requests. We don't use your workloads, data or model requests to train models. We don't store what you send to models or what they reply; we keep only records of the requests, such as time, model, status and size.
  • Where your work runs. Your workloads and model requests run on machines operated by us or by independent providers. Don't put data on a rented machine that you couldn't risk being on third-party hardware.
  • Back up your work. A rented machine's disk is deleted when the rental ends, or after the saved period.
  • Securing your workloads is up to you, including any ports you open to the internet.

6. Suspending or closing accounts

  • We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts the service or other users at risk, or doesn't pay. We'll tell you why unless we're not allowed to, or doing so would cause harm.
  • You can delete your account at any time in Settings. Before you do:
    • Stop any running GPUs and models first.
    • Any balance left on the account is lost.
    • Payment and billing records are kept for accounting, as explained in our Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". AI models can produce wrong, offensive or harmful output; check their output before you rely on it. You're responsible for how you use it.

8. Our liability

  • No liability for indirect losses. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill.
  • A cap on everything else. Our total liability to you for all claims is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
  • What isn't limited. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. We'll tell you about significant changes by email or in the dashboard before they apply. If you keep using the service after that, the new terms apply.
